ACCESS TO JUSTICE
Access to Justice (A2J) is the newest project in our portfolio. Last year, alongside a research fellow at the university, Access to Justice created an app, initially for children in schools about what is right and wrong. This is being developed further for those in custody or for those who could potentially be in custody so that they are fully aware of their rights. Research has shown that many of those who have been in custody are unaware of the full extent of their rights at the time of arrest.
In the future, there are also plans to expand this project away from an app and into the physical world, completing pro bono work and projects for firms in the UK, ensuring access to justice for more people who are in need and unable to access otherwise.
The project is now looking into ways to help students with issues with their landlords.
