NOVEMBER 2018- EXTERNAL MENTORING SCHEME LAUNCH

Student Experience

For the first time, the Pro Bono Society launched its own External Mentoring Scheme, pairing students with solicitors, barristers and those working within the legal sphere. Around 100 students signed up for this scheme, and around 60 are currently paired. We have an enthusiastic waiting list. 

This scheme gives the students a rare opportunity to have an honest conversation and relationship with those in their ideal careers- they can ask them about the good, the bad and the amazing in their careers. It gives them the chance to gain an honest depiction of the career, while some are even offered work experience and jobs at the end. As I am sure you agree, it's an invaluable experience.
